The Baptist Union of Moldova invited Faith Baptist Church to send a teaching team to Moldova.  The team conducted a 5-day Biblical Counselor Training Conference for pastors, church leaders and their wives at a camp near Chisinau, the capitol.  They also taught a 4-day modular Biblical Counseling course in the College of Theology and Education in Chisinau.

Steve Viars and Mark Dutton, co-pastors of Faith Baptist Church, Dr. Bob Smith, a deacon of Faith Baptist Church and one of the founders of Faith Biblical Counseling Ministry, and Bill Tully, missionary to Romania and Moldova taught the classes.  David Selvey, manager of Faith Global Ministries, coordinated the trip.

The team taught principles of Biblical Counseling to about 150 pastors and church leaders in the counseling conference and to over 150 students adn teachers in the College of Theology and Education founded by Valeriu Ghiletchi in 1994.  Please pray for God's blessing on this ministry that the seeds planted will bear much fruit.  For more information click on the links below.
