Welcome to the Elementary Art WebPage ...

I enjoy teaching the 1st - 6th grade art very much.  Your children are so fun and excited about art.  We began the year with a little art recognition.  We are reading about Leonardo Da Vinci and learning what special gifts God blessed him with.  The children loved this, and I hope to teach them about a few artist this year and build on that.  Our focus this year is to have them learn about the elements of art and principles of design.  They also will be learning new vocabulary that helps us to evaluate artwork and really, the design in nature that God created. 

I attended Herron School of Art in Indianapolis and I have continued my education with local artists.  I love God, children and art so it is a wonderful blessing to be teaching here at Faith.  You may contact me at talbaugh@fcslafayette.org for any questions or concerns.
